Kendra advises clients in the area of business law, representing businesses and individuals in a variety of commercial transactions including mergers and acquisitions, succession planning, shareholder relationships, statutory compliance, drafting and reviewing leases and other agreements, and other general business matters.
Charlie Carter represents clients on environmental regulatory and litigation matters before State, Federal and local agencies. His extensive experience over 40 years of practice representing companies, governmental agencies and private clients includes the range of environmental regulatory programs enacted over that period.
Jim brings 40 years of legal experience to the table for commercial transactions involving North Carolina residents, businesses and real estate. Jim has received numerous accolades during his career and is a widely-respected member of the North Carolina legal community.
Dan is a seasoned trial lawyer whose experience includes representing utility companies and other clients before courts and regulatory authorities at both the state and federal levels. His courtroom experience and knowledge of agency procedures also allow him to provide deep insights when advising clients on contracts and regulatory matters.
Andrea L. Hinshaw focuses on estate planning, probate and estate administration, residential real estate transactions, and business law. She handles a variety of wills and trusts issues. In addition she represents Executors and Administrators in probate and estate administration matters. Andrea also represents small businesses in their formation and everyday needs.
Greg is a founding member of the firm and has been practicing law in North Carolina since 1975. Today, he focuses his practice in the areas of estate planning, real estate transactions, and small business counseling.
Emily brings big firm experience to representing clients in a wide variety of real estate, business, financing and other transactions. She regularly advises individuals, businesses and banks in structuring and negotiating credit agreements, financing facilities, business acquisitions and other complex deals throughout North Carolina.
Julia has 15 years of experience representing North Carolina construction companies and other employers as both an advisor and a representative in negotiations and litigation. While Julia regularly counsels her clients on ways to avoid disputes, she is equally prepared to take their cases to court.
Jay is a litigator with more than 10 years of experience representing individuals in personal injury claims and estate-related disputes. He has helped his clients recover millions of dollars for personal injury claims, and has helped numerous families and individuals use the legal system to protect their interests in will contests and other disputes.
Lacy represents businesses and individuals in complex litigation in both state and federal court. He has tried more than 70 cases to verdict, and regularly handles appeals in cases involving business disagreements, estate disputes, personal injury and wrongful death. He also serves as a court-appointed mediator and is regularly asked to arbitrate other attorneys’ cases.
